The Dance Company Theater Osnabrück is a contemporary dance company that stands for high dance and artistic quality as well as diversity, internationality, experimentation and exchange with professional artists and amateurs.

The company of ten permanent dancers works with various international choreographers, bringing a variety of choreographic styles to Osnabrück. This results in contemporary pieces with their finger on the pulse of the times, which are exciting for both the dancers and the audience. In addition, the DCO offers various mediation formats that facilitate the reception of dance and motivate not only to watch, but also to dance and speak along.

Since the 2023/2024 season, manager and dramaturge Britta Horwath and dance master László Nyakas have been leading the Dance Company Theater Osnabrück as a dual leadership team. The team invites international guest choreographers and cooperation partners to develop contemporary productions together with the company and present Osnabrück with a variety of choreographic styles.
